BF-Con Comes and Goes On March 4, 2005 BF-Con 2005 was held at the Dortmund Airport inside hangar 3.3(K) in Germany. The event was organized, initiated and executed by Electronic Arts Germany, BF-News.de and the EA LAN-team. Roughly 300 bring your own computer LAN-guests and several hundred one day guests attended. Jamil Dawsari, Assistant Producer for Battlefield 2 presented Battlefield 2 to the audience on stage and received high scores amongst all guests. These guests were also allowed to playtest Battlefield 2 and Battlefield Modern Combat and took heavy advantage by playing both games into the ground.
Special thanks from DICE and EA for all the work that the community team put into organizing and executing on the event
Here are some images directly from the event.
